Logan Maile Lei Tom (born May 25, 1981) is an American indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player.
In 2000, she became the youngest woman to ever be selected for the USA Olympic volleyball team at 19. Over the summer of 2003 she was selected as one of eight finalists for the Women's Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year Award in the team category.
At age 19, Tom made her Olympic debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. She also competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics and 2008 Beijing Olympics. In Beijing, Tom helped Team USA win a silver medal and was named Best Scorer.
In 2004, Tom posed in a bikini for an FHM magazine article on female Olympic athletes. She was ranked #91 on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women of 2005.
Olympic and international career
Tom appeared in the 2000 Sydney Olympics (4th place), 2004 Athens Olympics (5th place), and the 2008 Beijing Olympics (Silver Medal). Tom was named the "Best Scorer" of the 2008 Olympic games.
In 2004, Logan was named the Most Valuable Player of the World Grand Prix after leading all players in scoring with 224 points in 13 matches (179 kills, 24 blocks and 21 service aces) where she also garnered “Best Server” accolades.
In 2007, she was named one of three World Cup most valuable player nominees as she averaged 4.10 points per set at FIVB World Cup in her first international tournament with Team USA in nearly three years. She averaged 3.35 kills, 0.65 blocks, 1.95 digs and 0.10 aces per set at the World Cup while starting 40 of 41 sets.
On September 15, 2008, Hisamitsu Springs, a women's volleyball team based in Kobe city, Hyogo and Tosu city, Saga, Japan, announced her joining.

Misty Erie May-Treanor (born July 30, 1977) is an American professional volleyball player and actress. She has won more tournaments than any other female player with 106 career wins.
May-Treanor and teammate Kerri Walsh were the gold medalists in beach volleyball at both the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. They have been called "the greatest beach volleyball team of all time."
Misty May-Treanor played her first professional match on the AVP tour in May 1999, while still a college senior. For five years – two during college and three during her pro career – May-Treanor suffered a torn PCL that nearly led her to quit volleyball. With encouragement from her father, however, she continued playing. She actually managed to be even stronger after the recovery from the PCL reconstruction surgery.
She is a fan of and childhood friends with basketball star Jason Kidd, who was in the stands when May-Treanor and Walsh defended their gold medal in Beijing. She had her first child on September 14, 2009.
May-Treanor appeared as a Stranger on an episode of the NBC game show Identity on April 6, 2007. Her "identity" was "born in 1977."
May-Treanor competed in season 7 (2008) of the ABC series Dancing With the Stars. Her partner was Maksim Chmerkovskiy. After May-Treanor ruptured her Achilles tendon during a training session, she and Chmerkovskiy were forced to withdraw from the competition. She underwent surgery on October 7, 2008.
She also was a special guest star on Wizards of Waverly Place; the episode premiered March 1, 2009. The episode is called "Art Teacher". Misty May-Treanor also appeared alongside her volleyball partner Kerri Walsh on the show Shaq Vs. in August 2009. Gabrielle Allyse Reece (born January 6, 1970) is an American professional volleyball player, sports announcer, fashion model and actress.
After graduation, Reece played on professional volleyball tours for several years. That year, Reece's 4-man team took first place at the first-ever Beach Volleyball World Championships staged at the UCLA Tennis Center, in her fifth season as a team captain in the 4-person Women's Beach Volleyball League (WBVL), and fourth captaining Team Nike, which shared League Co-Championship.
For four consecutive years, Reece was the WBVL kills leader from 1993-1996. She was named the Offensive Player of the Year in 1994-95, and the League blocks leader in 1993. She also competed domestically in the 1999-2000 Olympic Challenge Series, the 1999-2000 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, and other competitions.
Reece trained in golf for four years hoping to make it onto the LPGA but was unsuccessful. In 2009, she said, "... with young children, I simply didn't have the time for such a demanding game".
Reece began her modeling career while attending FSU. In 1989 she was named by Elle as one of the five most beautiful women in the world. She appeared in several Elle layouts in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
She has appeared on the covers of Outside, Shape, Women's Sports & Fitness, Elle, and Life. She appeared on the cover of Playboy, with an accompanying nude pictorial, in January 2001. Reece had previously made a cameo appearance as herself on the HBO series Arliss in which, ironically, she angrily reprimanded her agent for even suggesting she accept an offer to pose nude for Playboy.
Francesca Piccinini (born January 10, 1979 in Massa) is a female volleyball player who has represented Italy three times (2000, 2004, and 2008) at the Summer Olympics.
She was a member of the Women's National Team that won the gold medal at the 2002 World Championship in Germany.
She made her debut for Italy on 1995-06-10 against the United States. She was inspired to become a professional volleyball player by the classic anime Attack No. 1 which in Italy was shown on TV in the 1980s under the title 'Mimi e la nazionale de la pallavolo'.
